Project : Weight Loss Wilmington
Fitness Motivation needs the help of local media in the announcing of Fitness Motivation’s next run of Project: Weight Loss Wilmington! If you're not familiar with the program, below are the details.
The program was initiated by Anita Harrell at Fitness Motivation here in Wilmington, NC in March of 2013. Individuals apply for a chance to be chosen for a 12-week health/nutrition/fitness program at Fitness Motivation. Individuals must be considered obese and in desperate need of changing their lives. The individuals chosen receive this program FOR FREE, courtesy of Fitness Motivation. So far the program has successfully gone through FOUR 12-week cycles of participants. Twenty nine participants lost a total of over 500 pounds and 400 inches in their respective 12-week period. Many have continued that success and lost more. The most successful of which dropped 43 pounds in that 12-week period and has since lost a total of 150 pounds - - and kept it off!!!
The Spring 2015 Project will run from March to May or June. Rules, complete application procedure, and application can be found on our Project Weight Loss. Applications MUST be received by midnight on February 23rd to be considered. Once applications are reviewed, individual interviews will be scheduled.

Project Looks to Spread Healthy Habits
Anita Harrell is leading a fitness micro-revolution. In March, the dedicated owner of fitness Motivation: Personal & groUP training decided to put a dent in the obesity epidemic by starting Project Weight Loss Wilmington (PWLW). The twelve-week group training program featured high-intensity cardio workouts and a healthy diet tracked through the app MyFitnessPal. <more>
